CAMP OVERVIEW

Our College Clinic is designed to challenge competitive, high-school players who are interested in playing volleyball in college.  Over the past several years, we have had players attend from over 25 different states and three countries creating a very fun and competitive experience.  Many of our past campers have gone on to have successful collegiate careers at great programs like Connecticut College, Coast Guard, Air Force, Lafayette, Occidental, Bowdoin, Springfield, Colby, Bates, Trinity, Hamilton, Roger Williams, and many others.

Enthusiastic college coaches from Connecticut College and the United States Coast Guard Academy will facilitate this experience and run sessions similar to a college practice.  Campers will be challenged in the areas of skill development, tactical concepts, and systems of play.  High repetition drills and competitive play will highlight this experience.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE:

9:30 AM Check in

9:30 AM Camp introduction and outline

9:45 – 11:45 AM  Court session #1

11:45 AM – 12:45 PM  Lunch (in Harris dinning hall at Connecticut College)

12:45 – 1:15 PM  Recruiting and admissions information session

1:30 – 3:00 PM  Court session #2

3:00 PM  Wrap up and dismissal

3:15 PM  Optional campus tours
